A. We offer an open catering policy. It does not have to be a licensed caterer and there are no fees for bringing your own food if you choose to do so.
A. Yes. The courtyard is perfect for ceremonies. The landscaping is beautiful and the courtyard is included in the price of the rental. You will be responsible for setting up and taking down any extra tables or chairs brought in.
A. You will have access to the venue for a full 12 hour period. Usually noon to midnight. If your event is earlier in the day, arrangements can be made to allow 12 hours. You must be cleaning up and leaving by midnight.
A. Yes. We require bartenders and caterers to take out all trash before leaving. We handle the breakdown and clean up. If more than general cleaning is needed it will be deducted from the damage deposit.
A. Yes. You must give it away at no charge and purchase a 1 day alocohol liability insurance adding The Louisville Ballroom at Shall We Dance as an added insured. www.wedsure.com has inexpensive policies.
A. Yes. We take all major credit cards except American Express. Cash and check are accepted as well.
A. Yes. It is fully refundable 5 days after your event. It must be paid by check.
